Tank Services is the first organization we’ve worked with to offer telemetry services as an option to their customers that are implementing new storage tanks. This brings in supply chain considerations into the process early. With every tank implementation the questions can be asked; ˝ is there any value in exposing the inventory of this tank to outside parties? Is this tank supplying a mission critical process and is the supplier responsible for seeing that it never runs empty? Will the tank be installed in a remote location but the supplier wants to always replenish with a full tanker? ̏
If the answer to any of these questions is “yes” the solution can be implemented when the tank is installed.
