Our customers include but are not limited to (______) have the correct number of fitting and are they sized correctly for UL142. I need a price and delivery for each size of tank with all fittings, dip tubes and mounting angles. Normally 95% of our tanks are carbon steel but on rare occasions they want stainless steel (316 or 316L).

We have a general question about the use and installation of 1 ton IBC containers.
A client wishes to stack two 1000 liter IBC containers, interconnect them, vent the top one and replace as the liquid is used. The liquid is TMT-15
The liquid will be drawn from the containers via standard metering pumps.
I have never heard of such a thing and wonder if it can be done or if there are any restrictions on the type of container that can be used
Michael-

Ferdinand-
Thank you for posting your questions here. Yes, we can help but I need a lot of more information from you on the specifications of these tanks. Some of the initial questions that I have are:
1. what is configuration of the tanks (vertical or horizontal)
2. material of construction?
3. Openings on the tank?
4. Heater- what type of power is available? What is the ambient temperature? What is the desired temp of the product? what is the initial temp of the product?
Feel free to send me an email at andyd (at) tankservice (dot) com to further look into it.
Andy
In designing tanks, when can I use UL142 and when API 650?
Luis- what are you storing in them? As a rule of thumb, if you are storing flammable liquids such as fuels; the UL-142 will your design. This will very from state to state; check with your local codes first.
